Vicu Bazan Szelest

URSULA / Writer, Director, Co-Composer & Co-Lyricist
Vicu Bazan Szelest is an Argentine actress, director, film and theatre-maker based in Amsterdam. She has worked across film, TV (Máxima, FBI: International) and theatre (Cabaret by QETC, A Thousand Days by Mimi van Amerongen). She holds a BA in Performing Arts from UADE University. Electronic music is central to her identity, and through her work she explores ways to merge it with the performing arts, reflecting on themes of sobriety, connection and nightlife. Her debut short film “After Party” (2025) explored what it means to stand sober while everyone around you is not.  XTC: The Electronic Musical is the next step: inviting audiences to experience the story through theatre, music and their own bodies.

Ties Jansen is a Dutch-American actor, director, producer, and voice and speech coach. Recent credits: Zin in Zappelin Live (BazarMedia Productions), Company of Theatergroep Zwerm (Op de 1ste Rij), Heathers, Chicago (HEAP), La Cage Aux Folles, Smiley, Cabaret (QETC). Jonas Bouckaert

QUINN
Jonas is a singer/actor/musical performer. He graduated from Fontys School of Performing Arts in Tilburg, with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Theatre. During his studies he appeared as Andy Lee in his school production of 42nd Street. He has performed in numerous children’s theatre productions and street theatre shows. He played the lead role of ‘Constanzo’ in The Pinocchio Dinner Show (The Efteling), and has also acted out historical tales of Amsterdam in the Amsterdam Dungeon. Jonas made his Dutch professional debut as ensemble/swing in the new Dutch musical Was Getekend, Annie M.G. Schmidt (Stage Entertainment Netherlands). He was seen as ‘the Emcee’ in cabaret (QETC), Hannah From Hamburg in La Cage Aux Folles (QETC) and as ‘the Stranger’ in A Technology Demonstration (written and produced by Zena Wood).

Mahila Baut

Trini / Co-Composer & Co-Lyricist
Mahila Baut is an all-round performer: actor, singer, and dancer, born and raised in Luxembourg, with Belgian and Indian roots. She discovered her passion for performing early and went on to study a Bachelor in Musical Theatre in Brighton, England, sharpening her triple-threat skills. Represented by Browns and Mill Acting Agency in the UK and The Movers in the Netherlands, Mahila has worked across commercial campaigns for brands like Adobe, Snapdragon, Samsung, and Barclays, and appeared in short films including Picture Perfect, directed by Bibi-Jane Angelica. On stage, she’s performed in musicals such as Young Frankenstein, West Side Story, Chicago, and Be More Chill (HEAP). As a musician under the name Mahila, she blends electro-pop with Indian sounds, creating music that’s both sonically adventurous and performance-driven, That’s why XTC is the perfect fusion of all her passions, and she can’t wait for the audience to fully immerse themselves in it.

Zena Wood

PRODUCER
Zena Wood works in multiple facets of film and theater production. She is a Producer, Director, Writer, and Performer based in New York and Amsterdam. Highlights include: Line producer and first AD on The Blacklight (feature film, AMC Theaters, Amazon, Hulu); International creative & line producer for over 13 years for brands and networks such as ITV, BBC, Coty, Bombay Sapphire, New York Fashion Week, Conde Nast and more. Her documentary Will There Be Dancing interviews NASA and SETI scientists about creativity in space, and won Best Documentary Short at the Cannes Short Film Festival (2020). Her most recent documentary feature Move Like a Chameleon (2024) explores the concept of home and leaving home set on the backdrop of nature conservation. Writer of feature film, Hintsa The Great, screenplay Semi Finalist in New York Intl Screenplay Awards, & Second Rounder ScreenCraft Film Fund Fall 2022. Writer and producer of shows including A Technology Demonstration hidden in the Generator Hotel, Amsterdam: a dark sci-fi show combining live jazz, theatre, magic and dance; Encounter, a Sci-Fi comedy musical which traveled to New York at The Duplex and had a full run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe (2025).She holds an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability, reflecting her passion for sound leadership in the creative industries. Mimi van Amerongen

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Mimi is a renaissance woman of the creative industry; a performer, writer, director, designer and photographer. She currently teaches and performs improv comedy at Boom Chicago. Recent theater performances include Marianne in Constellations (Downstage Left), Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret (QETC) and The Witch in Into the Woods (HEAP). Writer and Director of A Thousand Days, a one act play produced by StrikeMePink Productions. As a visual artist, Mimi loves to combine her passions for photography and design with theater and film; she created and designed all imagery/film for XTC as well as this website!
